Pick-up With the Portsmouth Sports Club

The November meeting of the Portsmouth Sports Club was held at the Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club.  President Ned McCabe announced that the club has taken in an additional 22 new members to date. Reverse Raffle Chairman Paul Vestal said that this year's event was the most successful since its inception. Guest Speaker Johnny Grub gave a light hearted presentation on his illustrious career in major league baseball, saying his stint with The Detroit Tigers under Manager Sparky Anderson was the most successful of his career.
